* Sunblock, hat, sunglasses, bug repellant.
* An umbrella—August is monsoon season in Arizona and it might be very wet!
* An alarm clock- you will not be permitted to use your cell phone as an alarm clock.
* A journal, notebook, and lots of pens.
* A flashlight
* Slippers
* Toothpaste and toothbrush
* Comb or brush.
* Lady products
* A copy of Liberation in Our Hands -- you may order a copy through www.mstp.us
* Comfortable clothes and yoga clothes.
* Offerings for the teachers, who are volunteering their time.
* A Light sweater for nighttime
(Please note: there will be a bookstore at the retreat where we will be selling Geshe Michael's books, meditation cushions, yoga mats, as well as many other cool items. There is no ATM at the camp so we recommend that you have cash on hand when you arrive.)
What should I NOT bring with me?
* Reading material that is not Liberation in Our Hands
* An iPod or mp3 player.
* Your laptop, cell phone, Kindle, iPad, Blackberry, or any other similar devices.
Are there laundry facilities at the camp that I can use?
Sorry, but their laundry is only big enough for the camp itself.
I don't have enough room in my luggage to fit blankets etc, can you buy them for me?
We are making every effort to keep costs down and so cannot provide you with linens, etc. If you’re coming from overseas, you might want to ask a local friend to help you out.
